Shooting Hoopers

What a great day for a wedding photo shoot!  We had a great time in Inglewood shooting Veronica, Michael, Gwen, and Evelyn.  The highlight definitely had to be catching bubbles (and blowing them) with the girls since they brought an amazing energy to the day.  Veronica and Mike were fantastic and relaxed making the day go seamlessly.  Congratulations to the entire family and many happy returns.

The Baetes + One

It was another busy shoot.  You can't tell from this picture but the calm before the storm isn't as calm in the Baete household since they already have a plus one that turned two on the same day!  Liam was a lot of fun and was a real cutey for the pictures (even if getting him in between high fives was a challenge!).  Check out the the photography website in the next day for the updated portfolio, finger-paint and all.

Light Show

You don't see this too often in Calgary.  We were out playing around with night shots when the Northern Lights popped out.  Timing is everything in the great white north!

A Day In The Park

It's hard to believe that we're only just creeping into April after a day like this.  The sun was out and the birds were out singing (ok... maybe I'm exaggerating a little) while we did this family shoot at Bud Miller with the Campbell's.  No matter what the temperature, we were all sweating by the end as we chased Carsten around the lake!  Don't let the wee legs fool you, the little man is a speed demon!

On Track With The Pyntens

Little known fact: I was born on the train tracks at Kitscoty Alberta.  Ok, maybe it's not such a little known fact - my mom LOVES to talk after all!  Today saw me back on those tracks with Ryan and Lydia in their first couples shoot since their wedding - five years ago.  After  breaking the law for a while (I'm fairly certain I once sat through a 'if you climb on rail cars, you're breaking the law' talk in school... apparently I don't listen so well.), Ryan and Lydia really started to settle into the shoot so we moved outside of town to an old farm building to finish off.  This really was an awesome shoot with a great couple!
